Blackness Castle, the site of Fort William and the outside scenes for Wentworth Prison and Fort William. The Keepers Tower (the one the the wooden windows (not the centre tower) is where Jamie abseiled in and saved Claire stating "I'll mind you to take your hands off my wife"

The scene of the black kirk and the gardens of Castle Leoch. Visit Mercat Square where the boy was nailed to the Piliary. Geillis Duncan house is also here (the only 3 story house). Culross Palace and Gardens aka the Doune Castle gardens.

Join us on this 3 day Outlander Tour starting from Glasgow or Edinburgh. Fans of the hit Starz series will have a fantastic trip visiting all the main filming locations including “Lallybroch”, “Fort William”, “Castle Leoch”, “Crainesmuir” and “Inverness”. What makes this tour that extra bit special is that you get to stay for one night in the Scottish Highlands and visit the real locations featured in Diana Galbaldon’s novel including real standing stones. Itinerary
 
 Day 1.
 
9am Pick up from hotel
9.40 Arrive at Linlithgow Palace. Stay here for 1 hour
10.40 Make our way to Midhope Castle
11.10 Visit Hopetoun Estate for 1 hour.
12.10 Have lunch at a local establishment (1 hour)
13.10 Make our way to Midhope Castle
13.40 Arrive at Midhope (stay here for 15 minutes)
13.55 Make way to Blackness Castle
14.05 Visit Blackness Castle (stay for 1 hour)
15.05 Make way for Preston Mill
16.05 Visit Preston Mill
17.00 Make the way back to Edinburgh hotel or desired drop off point.
 
Day 2.
 
9am Pick up at hotel.
10am Arrive in Falkland. Stay for 30 minutes
10.30am Make way for Culross
11.15am Arrive in Culross, visit the palace and Mercat Cross. (45 minutes)
12.00pm Have some lunch in a local Culross establishment (1 hour)
13.00 Make way for Doune Castle
13.30 Arrive in Doune and visit the castle for 1 hour
14.30 Make way to Glencoe through the Trossachs route. Along here we will stop at the grave of a real Jacobite - Rob Roy MacGregor and see some highlan coos. We will also stop at Rannoch Moor
17.00 Arrive at your hotel to freshen up and head out for dinner at a traditional Scottish eatery in the Highlands
 
 
Day 3
 
9am. Leave Hotel
10am Arrive at the Glenfinnan Monument where Bonnie Prince Charlie arrived in Scotland
11.30 Arrive at Urquhart, you may go inside if you wish.
12.00 Make way for Inverness
12.30 Arrive in Inverness and go for lunch in the city
13.30 Make way for Culloden
13.45 Arrive at Culloden and stay here for 45 minutes
14.30 Make way for the Clava Cairns
14.40 Visit the Clava Cairns and stay here for 15 minutes
14.55 Make way for Edinburgh making one or 2 comfort stops along the way
18.30 Arrive back in Edinburgh.
 
 
We will be touring for around 8 - 12 hours each day depending on rest stops.

Inclusions: This price includes guide on 3 day tour, bottled water and snacks.

Exclusions: The price does not include food and drink,  entrance fees and accommodation however we can assist you with this. We can reserve accommodation for you and you can pay the accommodation in cash on arrival date. For entrance fees, please purchase an Explorer Pass or a Scottish Heritage Pass, it will save you a fortune.
