Blackness Castle
Blackness Castle, the site of Fort William and the outside scenes for Wentworth Prison and Fort William. The Keepers Tower (the one the the wooden windows (not the centre tower) is where Jamie abseiled in and saved Claire stating "I'll mind you to take your hands off my wife"

The scene of the black kirk and the gardens of Castle Leoch. Visit Mercat Square where the boy was nailed to the Piliary. Geillis Duncan house is also here (the only 3 story house). Culross Palace and Gardens aka the Doune Castle gardens.

Join us for this three day Outlander Tour starting from Glasgow or Edinburgh. Fans of the hit Starz series will have a fantastic trip visiting all the primary filming locations including “Lallybroch”, “Fort William”, “Castle Leoch”, “Crainesmuir” and “Inverness”.  Unlike other tours, you will spend one night in the Scottish Highlands meaning that you get the chance to visit the real locations featured in Diana Gabaldon's novel including genuine standing stones. Walk in the footsteps of Claire and find out about Scotland’s romantic past while taking in the most awe-inspiring scenery in the world. Will ye be a Jacobite or a Sassonach - Join us to find out.

 Day 1.
8.45am Pick up from 266 George Street in Glasgow or Dalmeny Train Station at 10 am.
Visit Blackness Castle (Fort William in Outlander) for 1 hour
Visit Midhope Castle (Lallybroch) for 20 minutes
Visit Falkland (Inverness) for lunch for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Visit Doune Castle (Castle Leoch) for 1 hour.
Day 2.
9 am Pick up at 266 George Street in Glasgow and 9.30am at Chamber Street in Edinburgh (outside the National Museum of Scotland)
Visit Preston Mill (the mill scene) for 20 minutes
Visit Hopetoun House (Duke of Sandringham's Residence and Paris Bedrooms) for 2 hours
Visit Linlithgow Palace (Wentworth Prison) for 45 minutes
Stop at the Drovers Inn for dinner
Photo stop at Glencoe
Check in to Highland Accommodation.
Day 3
10 am. Check out of accommodation.
Visit the Glenfinnan Monument where Bonnie Prince Charlie arrived in Scotland. Stay here for 30 minutes
Visit Fort Augustus where you can see Loch Ness
Visit Culloden for 1 hour
Visit the Clava Cairns for 15 minutes
Make way for Edinburgh making one or 2 comfort stops along the way
18.30 / 7 pm Arrive back in Edinburgh.
8 pm Arrive back in Glasgow.
We will be touring for around 8 - 12 hours each day depending on rest stops.

Inclusions: This price includes a guide on a 3-day tour, bottled water and snacks.

Exclusions: The price does not include food and drink,  entrance fees and accommodation, however, we can assist you with this. We can reserve lodging for you, and you can pay the accommodation in cash/credit card on arrival date. For entrance fees, please purchase an Explorer Pass or a Scottish Heritage Pass, it will save you a fortune.

-RUNS ALL THROUGH THE YEAR - In Winter, there may be alternative stops added as properties such as Preston Mill and Hopetoun are not open.
